Now is the Time for Change
Hello there! Thanks for joining me in my new venture of blogging! My name is Cris, and I’m guessing you are wondering what the heck The Good Difference is all about. It is a little blog I have had on my heart for 6 years! Yes, six. I put it up, and then took it down, changed the name, and then changed it back again. The truth is, I was afraid of a massive failure. What you would think. Would you like it? But as I sit in quarantine in the middle of a pandemic, after I had to close my business till it’s over (My husband and I are out of work) and I am out of excuses!! So, here it goes.

Welcome to The Good Difference
Written by an imperfect mom with 2 sons, Matthew(21) and Michael (16), and a wonderful husband, Richard. I also am a hair colorist with a passion for natural health and wellness. I always say, “I am a hippie who loves hair color.” I also am working on a NEW second act in life. After 26 years of helping clients be healthier and happier, I want to be healthier and happier!

Do you ever feel completely exhausted? Does just thinking about where to begin in life overwhelm you? Do you know what you would like to accomplish, but just can’t seem to stick with anything? Or maybe you think about what you want, where you want your future to go, but you are forever putting out fires? This is a safe place for imperfect women like me that want to make changes in her life but just do not know where to begin! Women like me have tried apps, blogs, online courses, etc. and none of it lasted long.

Today is a Good Day to Make a Difference
What makes The Good Difference different? This is not about massive productivity at the fastest pace possible by throwing more onto your already overwhelmed soul. It’s hard to be a wife, mother, business owner, household manager, cook, chauffeur, launderer, friend, daughter, etc. (the list is never-ending). I know this! I love this!

Today is a Good Day to Make a Difference, try slowing down, taking life one day at a time, laughing more with your family again, removing things that mean absolutely nothing, and learning what it means to let God. It’s about healthy, not skinny and YOUR beauty, not someone else’s. It’s about loving who you were created to be and for the first time ever, truly owning it. Think, simplicity. Joyfulness. Gratitude. All in imperfection. I don’t always get it right, and in fact, I think some days I get more wrong. Is it possible to slow down and enjoy life and finally make time for your goals? Yes! But slow and steady wins the race. One day of intentional living is 365 days a year from now. No more instant gratification.

Please join me in my quest to reinvent the parts of my life that are not working and replace old worn-out habits for GOOD habits that make all the difference in reinventing my life. One good habit. One day at a time. I want to surround myself with women who don’t have it all together. I want a tribe of women that are not finished yet, but in fact, they are ready to just get started! Welcome to The Good Difference Warriors.
